Who are you?
Hi, I’m Walter and I’m Mr. Rossen’s assistant here at the Rossen law firm. I came to the United States when I was 12 years old from Peru. I grew up here in South Florida and it has become my home. We came here to live the American dream and be able to live a life worth living in a country that provided us with that opportunity.
How do you help clients of the firm?
Being Mr. Rossen’s assistant involves always being on your toes as every day can be full of surprises. We constantly have new clients call with emergencies and we’re always ready to spring into action to fix their Criminal, DUI or Traffic Issues.
I handle certain aspects of the firm: Setting court dates, filing motions, filing documents, Spanish Translations, and helping our clients in any way I can. I also have full responsibility for seal/expungements and early termination of probation. Those are some of my favorite tasks because I get to give really good news to our clients.
Why do you love your job?
I LOVE working here because I have been given a platform in which I can be of full service to others; I love helping people, and working here provides a tremendous amount of freedom in order to get things accomplished and the JOY of knowing that I can help someone who’s going through a tough time.
What do you do when you’re not working at Rossen Law Firm?
I have a very eclectic range of hobbies, some of which are sports related such as: playing soccer, Mixed martial arts, and working out. Then there are the non-sports hobbies which include going to the movies, attend music festivals, eating good food and traveling whenever I have an opportunity to.
