Hi, I’m Susan Lawson, Partner at the Rossen Law Firm. I was born and raised in South Florida and have been practicing criminal defense for over 13 years. The majority of my practice has been in South Florida but I have also practiced in Maryland and the District of Columbia. I have handled thousands of cases and have tried more than 100 jury trials ranging from driving and drug offenses to sexual battery and homicide cases.
I received a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. I received my juris doctor degree from Saint Thomas University School of Law where I was a member of the International Moot Court and Intercultural Human Rights Law Review.
I have always loved to litigate and help others. I knew I could use my voice, knowledge, skills, and passion to zealously advocate and make a difference in the lives of others.
I joined the Rossen Law Firm because of the values they have implemented. The entire firm has a strong work ethic and everything is handled with a team approach. They have built a top notch legal team who overturns every stone to obtain the best result possible while treating each client like family.
I spend my time with my husband, two young sons, and english and french bulldogs. We are a baseball family who loves to spend time on the field.
