Who are you?
Hi, I’m Kate and I’m a Paralegal at Rossen Law Firm. I grew up on the Treasure Coast in a small city called Stuart, which is known as the Sailfish Capital of the World. However, I have never seen a sailfish there. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an interest in the legal field. During grades 10-12, I dual-enrolled at a state college and took advantage of an amazing opportunity to intern for a Circuit Judge at the 19th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. After graduating from high school, I moved down to South Florida to continue my education at Florida Atlantic University, then subsequently transferred to Nova Southeastern University, where I plan to attend law school.
How do you help clients of the firm?
At Rossen Law Firm, several clients come to us that are stressed or worried. By taking the time to listen to their concerns and explaining what is going on in their case, we give clients peace of mind knowing we are doing everything possible to achieve the best end results for them.
Why do you love your job?
I love working for this firm because it allows me to gain experience working on all different types of cases, which increases my ability to efficiently handle several cases at a time. Every team member at Rossen Law Firm is eager to help and develop relationships with clients, as well as with one another.
What do you do when you’re not working at Rossen Law Firm?
I am an avid car enthusiast, especially when it comes to Japanese imports. I attend various car meets throughout Broward and Palm Beach County. I spend as much time as possible with my beloved black English Labrador retriever I also love horses and take riding lessons whenever I can. Some of my time is spent at school, as I’m currently a senior at Nova Southeastern University studying towards a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies.
