Hi, I’m Meylin Soza, Firm Administrator at the Rossen Law Firm. I was born in Nicaragua and raised in South Florida. I have more than 15 years of professional legal experience in diverse practice areas. I began my career in the legal industry in 2005 as a receptionist for a bankruptcy law firm. From there I was trained as a legal assistant and served in that capacity for seven years in multiple practice areas, including bankruptcy, probate, wills and trusts, subrogation, and complex commercial litigation in both state and federal cases. I decided to pursue a career path in law firm management and obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration. In 2015, I joined a first-party property insurance law firm and was promoted to office administrator responsible for day-to-day firm operations. Today, I am happy to be onboard with Rossen Law Firm and serve as a liaison with the firm’s office services, human resources, information systems, accounting, records management, library administration and marketing departments.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice and English from Florida International University where I was a member of the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. I earned my master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources from Florida International University.
I decided to pursue a career in law firm management because I am passionate and committed to building a great organization and taking care of those who are vested in their work and success. I am a firm believer that a Firm Administrator should be someone that makes an impact not only in the success of the company but in people’s lives. I take great joy in having meaningful and deep connections with others. A quote I love by Jay Shetty is “your passion is for you and your purpose is for others, when you use your passion in the service of others, it becomes a purpose.”
I truly believe in Rossen Law Firm’s core values. The deep passion and love that is poured into the firm’s clients is commendable. We are all humans, and by design, we are destined to make mistakes along our journey in life. I take pride in knowing that I am part of a team that believes in the power of second chances with no judgment. Another favorite quote of mine is from Ernest Hemingway, “we are stronger in the places that we’ve been broken.” Bad things do happen to good people, and Rossen Law Firm understands that good people deserve happiness.
When I am not working at Rossen Law Firm, I am spending time with my two daughters and family. I have a big family and we are tight! We love being around each other, exploring restaurants, watching movies, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling. I also enjoy reading personal development books, meditation, and exercising on my Peloton bike.
Rossen Law Firm’s legal team understands what’s at stake when you’re charged with a crime in South Florida. We’re committed to defending you and protecting your rights. Our legal team is ready to create a customized strategy for your case to fight for the best possible outcome. We handle Criminal, DUI, Federal, Domestic Violence, Marchman Act & Baker Act cases, and more.
